Subsequent to signing a contract with Ambience Designer Pools and agreeing on the design of your pool, we send these plans for Engineering. The Engineers then draw up the specifications for your pool.
The Ambience Pools Construction Process
The most common enquiry we receive is about the process of constructing your new pool.
Below we have a comprehensive list of the main stages involved in Ambience Pool construction. If you have any further questions or enquiries, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Step 1 - Planning
Step 2 - Certification
Once your engineered plans have returned from the Building Certifier and have been approved, we can then commence with your swimming pool construction.
Step 3 - Mark Out
The property owners and our Director will then mark out the pool to the desired shape.
Step 4 - Excavation
Following the mark-out (generally the following day), excavation will then commence and, in most cases will be completed in the same day. Temporary fencing will be erected by the end of this day.
Step 5 - Reinforcing and Internal Plumbing
Reinforced Steel is then placed within the excavation to Engineers specifications; all internal plumbing work will be done during this process.
Step 6 - Engineering Inspection
Your pool will then be inspected by the pool Engineer and signed off ready for concreting.
Step 8 - Curing Period
This process, from the time of mark-out to the spraying of concrete takes approximately one week. Following this we allow a curing period of 3 weeks.
Step 9 - External Plumbing
All external plumbing work will then be traced back to your filtration location.
Step 12 - Fencing and Finishing
Once the pool fencing is completed and has been inspected, we are able to apply the interior lining of your pool with either Pebblecrete, Quartzon, Aristone, Tiles or whatever finish you desire.
Step 13 - Water
It is now possible to fill your pool with water which we then treat with start up chemicals.
